The EB 80 offer gets expanded with the introduction of a new Module 16 M12 CONFIG. DIGIT. I/O, whose part no. is 02282S22.
 
The Module with ID S22 is equipped with 8 M12 5-pin 4-pole connectors (the central pin is not used) for handling 16 digital signals, each configurable as digital input or digital output.
 
Similarly to what happens for the Module 16 M8 CONFIG. DIGIT. I/O (S21), also for the new module the configuration takes place via software by connecting the island's fieldbus module to a PLC. Moreover, the signals of the first two connectors can also be used as inputs for reading direct current motor encoders (VDC).
 
Each connector allows the management of two signals (a pair of pins for each connector). The connection can be made with the M12 connectors already available in our catalogue for EB 80.
